As we move into the summer months, we are excited to share some incredible milestones from May. This month was all about education, growth, and community partnerships. From expanding our English Academy to improving learning conditions at the local high school, we continue to see what is possible when people come together to invest in the future of Mizata's children.

English Academy Growth: Building the Future of Mizata

May has been an exciting month for our English Academy! We are proud to share that we now have more than 65 children enrolled in our English program, making it one of the fastest-growing initiatives of the Mizata Foundation.

Our new English teacher, Maria Vargas, has brought incredible energy, creativity, and engagement into the classroom. Through interactive lessons, games, and conversation-based learning, she is helping our students build confidence while developing valuable English skills that will open doors to future opportunities.

This growth is also bringing us closer to a much bigger vision. We dream of creating a Community Learning Center in Mizata—a safe and inspiring after-school space where children can access English classes, art programs, music lessons, tutoring, and other life-changing educational opportunities.

As our enrollment continues to grow, we are already beginning to outgrow our current space. We are actively looking for a larger location that can support this vision and allow us to serve even more children in our community.
