Mizata Foundation’s Work in Education, Nutrition & Community
March 11, 2025

August was all about momentum, building programs, welcoming volunteers, and rallying support for urgent needs. Here are the highlights:

English Academy Growth
We now have more than 60 kids enrolled at our English Academy, and we’re actively searching for a new space to expand. Our goal is to reach 200 students before next summer. Special thanks to Teacher Nestor, whose dedication and leadership continue to inspire both our students and community.

If you want to help make this dream come true, please reach out: amalie@antiresort.com.

Meal Plan Fundraiser
We launched our Meal Plan Campaign to ensure children have access to nutritious meals during classes. Just $3 provides a warm meal that fuels learning, health, and hope. A healthy meal helps kids concentrate, learn better, and stay energized, giving them the foundation they need to thrive. With $288, you can feed a child for an entire year. Donate here!

Dog Sanctuary – Community Support
This month, Jesse and his guests visited Impawssible Village Dog Sanctuary, bringing two suitcases full of medicine, toys, and supplies for the dogs. Their generosity gave an incredible boost to the program and showed just how impactful visiting guests can be. Thank you, Jesse!

Volunteer Spotlight
We’re excited to welcome two new wonderful volunteers who are supporting leadership programs and art workshops at our English Academy. Their creativity and commitment are giving local children fresh opportunities to express themselves, build confidence, and grow as future leaders.

Beach Cleanups
Join our community cleanup the first weekend of each month, locals and visitors welcome!
